AGM 2010

The Nova Scotia Liberal Party recognizes the need to be seen at work throughout our province. To that end, we will hold the 2010 Annual General Meeting outside the capital city for the first time in several years. Liberals from around the province will gather from May 14th to the 16th at the Charles V. Keating Millennium Centre of St. Francis Xavier University in Antigonish. As Co-Chairs of the AGM, we note that our committee of volunteers is thrilled to host the event in Antigonish. We will ensure that Liberals have an outstanding experience.

The community's history as the birthplace of the "Antigonish Movement" has inspired our theme, "Rooted in the Power of the People." The legacy of Coady and Tompkins reminds all of us of the impact that may be made by individuals and groups on the democratic process. Our theme will be reflected and explored in the many meetings, policy sessions and celebrations of AGM 2010. The momentum generated by the power of our people will prepare us for the future role of governing the province. We look forward to seeing you in Antigonish.
