DOWN-TO-EARTH MACARTHUR LOVED HELPING PEOPLE: MCNEIL

(Halifax, NS) Liberal leader Stephen McNeil says Nova Scotia has lost a proud public servant in former Liberal MLA Charles MacArthur.

“Charlie MacArthur was a good friend to many and made an impact in the lives of the people he served,” said McNeil. “He was down-to-earth, generous and kind.”

MacArthur is being remembered as a man who was dedicated to public service. He served over a decade in the House of Assembly representing the people of Inverness

McNeil expresses his deepest sympathy to Mr. MacArthur’s family and friends.

“Our hearts and thoughts are with those closest to Charlie at this difficult time,” McNeil said.
