Support Students Impacted by Houston's Strike 

Sign our petition if you agree that the Houston government is discriminating against some of our most vulnerable and youngest students by keeping them out of the classroom.

It's unfair for some students to be excluded from going to school – which is why we asked the Human Rights Commission to investigate an alleged violation on behalf of the students and families in the HRCE who are being discriminated against by the government. 

 

Pre-primary and support services are crucial for these children. The disruption of these programs is causing unnecessary stress for parents, students, and workers who are now on the picket lines.

 

These students have been out of school for more than a month, and now risk losing the rest of their school year. Many may not be able to graduate alongside their classmates.
