GET TO KNOW MARY
As a lifelong resident of Pictou West, I’m dedicated to the community and the families who live within it. My connection to Pictou West runs deep, having been a bus driver for Chignecto Central Regional Centre for Education for 22 years and now serving as Municipal Councillor for District Four.
I’m passionate about the issues that matter most to our neighbours and communities, like better access to healthcare and housing, making life more affordable for everyone by cutting taxes, and better serving our seniors. I believe that by working together, we can build a better Nova Scotia.
I’m running to be your MLA because it’s clear our people are struggling. It’s becoming far too expensive to live in Nova Scotia. Power rates have climbed 15% in the past two years and inflation is driving up the price of nearly every purchase we make. That’s why I want to join Zach Churchill’s Liberal team that's fighting to keep more money in your pocket with practical ideas like lowering the HST by two percentage points, bringing sales tax down to 13% - the lowest in Atlantic Canada.
Your vote isn’t just about change—it’s about electing a voice that truly understands and champions the needs of our community.
