As a lifelong resident of Pictou West, Mary is dedicated to the community and the families who live within it. In 2020, she was elected councillor for District Four and currently serves on multiple committees.

Our province is facing generational crises in housing and affordability that have not been addressed by the Houston Conservatives,” said Wooldridge-Elliott. “Over the coming weeks, I look forward to connecting with residents and becoming a strong voice for the people of Pictou West.”

Mary spent 20 years working in retail and has been a proud bus driver for Chignecto Central Regional Centre for Education for over 22 years. Throughout her career, Mary has made meaningful connections with students and families in Pictou West.
